    MERS Consulting & Construction seeks to hire applicants for the position of;

    1. Architect.

    Basic Requirements:

    • Four years experience 
    • Capable of designing indoor and outdoor spaces 
    • Must be capable of adhering to budgets and timelines. 
    • Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills. 
    • Excellent technical drawing skills. 
    • Strong communication and project management skills. 
    • Good interpersonal and presentation skills. 
    • Must have excellent knowledge of Autocad, Revit, Lumion, and SketchUp. Knowledge of additional software such as Grasshopper, Rhino, ArchiCAD, and 3d Max is preferred.     
    • Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards of Ethiopia.

    Duties and responsibilities… 

    • Create designs for new construction projects, alterations and redevelopments 
    • Liaise with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects 
    • Writing and presenting reports, proposals, and contracts
    • Viewing building sites, proposed locations, and client meetings.
    1. Full-time Structural Engineer.

    Basic Requirements:

    • Minimum 4 years experience 
    • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, MSc in structure is an additional advantage. 
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills 
    • Computer literacy on  ETABS, SAP, Revate Structure  
    • Min of 2 building structural designs with more than 10 stories computed and approved  
    • Pst licensed 
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
    • Diagrammatic skills 
    • Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills. 
    • The ability to liaise well with professionals from other disciplines.

    Duties and responsibilities…

    • Structural analysis of  buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed and detailing.  
    • Improve the structure integrity of existing buildings and Site supervision.
    1. Receptionist.

    Basic Requirements…

    • Computer knowledge
    • Fluent in English and Amharic
    • Good communication skills
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Good problem-solving skills
    • Must be able to multi-task

    Duties and responsibilities…

    • Meeting and greeting customers
    • Answering calls and Book meetings
    • Run errands while maintaining professional composure throughout interactions with customers or potential clients.
